    Hi,

    Thanks for this request.

Warehouses may not be as simple as it sounds, it is obvious that this functionality would bring another level of stock control, which is good, but it also brings another level of complexity.

To decide if this feature is going to be added, we need to have a clear vision of what it should do.

In order to understand your requirement better (without assuming anything up front), can you please describe what it takes to add multiple warehouse support, or answer the following question, so we are clear on the requirements:

    • If you have multiple warehouses, how do you know which one to use in sales made on POS?
Is it a matter of setting one of them as a default one?

    • If you have multiple warehouses, can you use all of them in POS sales?
If yes, then we need to determine how do we make a decision which warehouse to use.
There are solutions for this, but may be too complicated (multiple document types, warehouse attached to a document type, specific payment type creates specific document type, etc...), we would like to hear your opinion and a desired solution how do you decide which warehouse to use on each sale.

    • If you do not need to have multiple warehouses in sales, how would you like to use them?
Would you use them in management section, where you can create transaction outside of POS and assign a warehouse to it so you can keep track of stock levels fore each warehouse?

    • If you have multiple warehouses, are you ever going to need to transfer your stock from one to another?

We will need more discussion on this so we can make sure we are building something that will do the job for you and other users.

    Thanks, Aronium team.

I would think below two options can be added as a initial stage and the rest in future making each user a default warehouse for pos.

It would be good to add these features as soon as possible.

    • If you do not need to have multiple warehouses in sales, how would you like to use them?  ANS:  To create transaction outside of POS and assign a warehouse to it so you can keep track of stock levels fore each warehouse.

    • If you have multiple warehouses, are you ever going to need to transfer your stock from one to another?
      ANS:
      Yes, Of course when needed.

    Good day,

I five different store areas of my products. This would be a nice feature to add to see which store areas have which products and quantity. Here are some ideas if it helps:

    • If you have multiple warehouses, how do you know which one to use in sales made on POS?
The main area would be a default one from where all sales are made. If a sale is made in the main warehouse and the product has insufficient quantity available, you could have a message come up with said product with quantities available in other locations and therefore approve the sale if there is enough available. Of course, approving this would show a negative quantity in the main warehouse and all that remains is a transfer of the product from the warehouse that it is in the the main one.

    • If you have multiple warehouses, can you use all of them in POS sales?
The best option for this (as mentioned above) would be allowing sale from a default location and using transfer document for movement of products from within the warehouses.

    • If you do not need to have multiple warehouses in sales, how would you like to use them?
      Would not need this option.

    • If you have multiple warehouses, are you ever going to need to transfer your stock from one to another?

Yes, therefore a transfer feature should be accommodated to do this. Since sales are made from one main location, either after each sale or at the end of the day you could create a transfer document of products from their physical locations to the location of where the sale is made.

I hope this helps, and I hope to have this feature soon. Love the software by the way.
