products with recipes

how do i add a product which i manufacture and it has a recipe of various stock items 

eg a Chicken Sandwich

with Recipe

2 slices bread

1/15 lettuce

1/8 chicken

!/4 tomato

1/6 large onion

    Thanks for the feature request. 

    Unfortunately, Aronium does not support support recipes yet, but this is a great place to start this discussion.

    Also it can be used with promos, you can have a promo that consist in more than one product, and you apply a discount to it... I can do it creating a product with that price and name, but if I use it it will not discount from my stock the used products

    Recipe feature debate 

    I still feel this is very important as it allows greater stock control because not everything is purchased already preped in portions

    Recipes are for stock control. Fast foods and restaurants use this feature to calculate their final product costings. Even supermarkets to manufacture products. Deduct items when sold.

    I would also love to add a recipe for items, as it allows me to control my stock, or more simpler, to add multiple existing items to create a new item on which it will deduct an additional item /unit of items used to create this new item,  from the stock, ie, I need to create a burger, and a burger with chips, when creating these tow items, I need to add buns and burger patties to both, which can be deducted from stock, does not matter which item I sold... The newly created should not reduce in stokc, as it is a "Created item" which exists of other stock items

    Yes, this is good feature for present trend. This requirement to ensure inventory in place and monitor the related products. Also if we can implement low stock notification
    along with this will be more Ideal.
    Notification to pop-up and send my email. ( Based on setting)

    Hello,

    You know this is a great idea for me as I was just looking for some feature that may reduce my time to do the inventory job at the end of the day.

    For example, An order for a chicken zinger burger shall affect the following items in the stock:

    Burger Bun (1)

    Chicken Petty (1)

    crumps (quantity set by admin during recipe entry for 1 Ch. Burger)

    Vegetables (quantity set by admin during recipe entry for 1 Ch. Burger)

    Spices  (quantity set by admin during recipe entry for 1 Ch. Burger)

    Ketchup  (quantity set by admin during recipe entry for 1 Ch. Burger)

    Oil (quantity set by admin during recipe entry for 1 Ch. Burger)

    or any other ingredients.

    By doing this, we would be able to not only saving the time at day end but it will enable us to check the inventory count during the operation even during a rush time without interrupting the operation. and having an eye on all the stock for re-ordering would already be a major advantage.

    Is there any timeline planned yet for the development of this function?

    We really need to make use of such a capability within our POS.

    Might it be possible perhaps to get it done via SQL directly on the database file  somehow?

    Upon deploying Aronium to one of our branches, I was quite shocked to discover recipes were not already an implemented features-set in Aronium. I'd very much not like to deploy another system separate from Aronium to track inventory-- integration within Aronium would be great.  Can we get an update on when we can expect this? Is the team working on this?

    i just started using aronium and am shocked to see that there are no recipe and we have ,butchery ,bakery and takeaway departments which sells products that require recipes so that they can be able to deduct on the raw materials that we buy from the store through production.

    I would also like to see a recipes feature. Very hard to calculate proper stock if I am not able to account for all the product in the product.

    We would be very happy to have this possibility in Aronium! We need it to sell giftboxes with products that have different tax-classes for TVA!

    Hoy en dia son una muy buena herramienta, todas sus caracteristicas estan muy completas. Pero se han tardado mucho el implementar esta funcion, teniendo en cuenta el primer comentario fue hace 2 años y que me imagino que la gran mayoria de sus clientes trabajamos con alimentos preparados. No queremos vernos en la necesidad de optar por otro programa que si ofrezca esta herramienta. Vamos hechenle ganas fidelidad con ustedes.

    Hace 5 años que se publicó está solicitud me parece increíble que nunca la hayan implementado, las personas que venden Kits de artículos o que manejan platos preparados que llevan diferentes productos nos vemos muy limitados :( es una lástima que a una de las funciones más importantes y más solicitada por los usuarios sea a la que menos prioridad le han dado.
