More than one product tax

Dear Aronium Group

Here in Colombia we have some taxes like the VAT that can vary according to the product, until there is no problem that I can create different types of tax vat 19% tax 8% but there are products that like fast food, eg hamburgers in restaurants that have 2 or more taxes associated and the system only allows one tax per product

For example
Burger Vat 8% + Consumption tax 8% (total 16%) but not only must be associated with the product but also discriminated in the printing of the ticket

There is some possibility to expand the amount of taxes per product. Thank you

  Multiple tax rates are available with version 1.23

  Hi Enrique,

  Thanks for the feature request.

  This is already identified as a missing feature, as other countries (for example US and Canada) have the same tax system, where single product contains multiple taxes.

  At this moment, all you can do is combine them into single one and use it that way, there is no option to add multiple taxes on a product, yet.

  We'll inform our users once this feature becomes available, but, at this moment, we cannot tell any exact dates when it will be added.

  We'll update this thread once it is added to the read map, for sure.

  This sounds interesting! But how does it work exactly? If I sell a gift box by scanning its barcode, with two products, of which each has a different tax rate, will Aronium book this products apart with their own tax rates??

  Hi Priorij,

  Yes, it should work as expected. You can have different tax rates on different products and some products can have multiple tax rates while other can have one (or none).

  Taxes are per product, not per sale, so whatever you add to the sale, the tax will be taken from the products and tax total will be correctly calculated.

  What I can recommend is adding a tax type per product category. This would be easier when adding the tax to the category, rather than adding multiple taxes to the product.
