Manually entering an amount

My laundromat offers wash and fold service and I charge a preset amount by the pound. I see that there's no way to manual key in the total amount? I can't set the service price as a "product" price because it will never work out as the rate changes with every wash and fold customer. Can you update the software and add in that feature? To be able to manually key in an amount?

  Hi Yoseph,

  This functionality already exists.

  For products with variable price, you can turn Price change allowed option ON in product details. If you have this option enabled, you will be asked to confirm or change the price every time you add an item to the sale. Please find more info about setting up products here.

  Hi The price Change Allowed option is Fine. But it will be more easy on sale screen button Same as quantity change button .

  If i am understanding well then you can use the "Default Quantity" option on product settings. Disable default quantity then it will give an option to manually input the amount then calculate it by the set price of the product.
