Info About Aronium Networking
Hi
I started using Aronium (offline) at my new cafe last month and it has been amazing so far!
I just need some info about whether I can use Aronium Networking to access the sales data remotely. I have one cash register and I want to know whether I can access the sales data in real time on my personal laptop. If I set up the database on the cash register computer and register my laptop as a second cash register, will it be able to access the data over the internet or is that only possible over a local network?
Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!

Hi Ghazi,
Aronium is an offline application which means that your database is stored on your computers only and not "in the cloud" so it is not accessible remotely or over the internet, I am sorry.
Aronium Pro supports multiple computers to be connected to the central database, but it is also an offline application and computers need to be connected to the same network in order to work (to connect to the database).
The only possible workaround with this Pro version is to use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) like www.vpn.net between your store running Aronium Pro and your remote computer so they appear to be in the same network, but this is a bit too technical and would require an IT person to help you set it up, unless you have previous experience in setting this things up.Hope this helps.
Best regards, Aronium team.
