Cash Drawer doesn't open on first sell

Hi My cash drawer is connected to the printer After I turn on the pos and the printer When I make the first sell the cash drawer doesn't open After I make the second sell it opens onwards i.e after the second sell it responds to all items properly Only when I start the system it doesn't to first sell Please let me the solution Thanks
