Version 1.41 license compatibility
Version 1.41 requires new license to be downloaded.
If you are using Aronium Lite (free version) without any paid plugin, this change doesn't affect you.

What is changing?
Users using paid plugins or Aronium Pro need to have a license that can be downloaded automatically or manually. Version 1.41 change format of the license file, so, in case you need a license, you will need to refresh your license or obtain a new license file to be able to use Aronium version 1.41.
This can be done in two ways:
- If you are connected to the internet and signed in
- Downloading license manually from My Aronium
You are connected to the internet and signed in
If you are connected to the internet and signed in to your Aronium account, your license will be automatically downloaded after the update, making this the easiest way to prevent any issues.
How do I know if I am signed in?
To confirm you are signed in and your license can be automatically downloaded, do the following:
- Open settings
- Go to License section
- Confirm you see a "Sign out" button and "Refresh license" is enabled
If you see a "Sign out", that means you are already signed in and Aronium will be are able to automatically download your license.
To confirm this, click "Refresh license" and ensure you see a notification that the license is downloaded successfully, as in the screenshot below.
If you are able to refresh the license this way, no further action is required. You can safely install Aronium and run it, it will download compatible license automatically and you can continue using it as usual.
Download license manually from My Aronium
If you are not connected to the internet and you are downloading your license manually from My Aronium, you will see the change in the download dialog. From this update, you will need to select a compatible license version to download.
How do I know what license version should I use?
By default, current license version will be selected. This means that if you are using the latest Aronium version, you can leave the default selection "V2 (Compatible with Aronium versions 1.41+)".
Otherwise, if you are using Aronium version older than 1.41, make sure to select "V1 (Compatible with Aronium versions before 1.41)", as in the screenshot below.
Once you have your license version selected and activation key entered, download the license and proceed as usual, you can update your license as described at https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017526139-How-do-I-update-a-license-on-my-computer-.
