Can the software be used without a printer.
Hi, I've just downloaded the software. I'm only using it as a second till about 2-3 times a year so wasn't really needing a printer attached to it. I'm using a Surface Pro 7 with a USB trigger for cash drawer attachment to connect to the cash draw. I'm basically wondering if this setup is possible because I'm unable to get the software to open the cash drawer. It keeps saying i need to install a printer. Apologies if there are articles already written about this as i've been unable to find them. Thanks for any help .

Unfortunately, cash drawer can work only if connected to the printer.
Aronium is sending an ESC/POS command to the printer and the printer is responsible for sending a "kick" signal to the cash drawer, so, without the printer, there is no option to open drawer directly, we're sorry.
