Question about adding multiple discounts

Is it possible to add multiple discounts on an item/cart? For. Eg. I am selling a product "A" at 10 each. I want to make an entry where I sell 20 of this product.

So total will be 200. To this i want to apply a retailer margin discount of 16% (32) which will bring the total to 168. Now need to add another VAT discount to 168 of 13% (21.84). Which now brings the new total to 146.16. Now to this want to add another discount 5% (7.30) which will bring the final total to 138.86.

Reading the faq, it says to just add the discounts and apply to whole which wont work in this case as the discount will be added to the new values. 

Is something like this possible? Hope i made sense and please let me know if further clarification needed.
