Print Order ticket
Hello community,
we (bakery) have the following scenario (with the old POS System):
- Customer comes in the bakery on let's say Wednesday. They put in an order for Saturday.
- Sales staff prints a ticket which is handed over to the bakery. Ticket lists items on order and customer name/phone
- Saturday night shift, bakery staff packs all the orders from the tickets and staples the ticket to the bags.
- Saturday, customer comes in, sales staff finds order based on name on ticket.
- Sales staff opens order in POS system . Sometimes customer adds more to their order when they pick it up. Sales staff adds this to the ticket.
- customer pays, transaction is completed.
I struggle to implement this in aronium. The receipt printed when the sale is locked has not much information. Doesn't have the customer name. Then I played around with the credit sales. I set up a credit payment type, set the "complete transaction" to false and this allows me to print a receipt with all the information we need. But it doesn't allow to open the sale when the customer comes to pick up their order and add more items to it.
The ideal situation would be to me if I could print the receipt when I save a sale. But even this has some challenges. Finding a save sale for a specific customer is tedious. The saved sales list only shows me order numbers, not customer names. I would expect if I open a customer I would see the open sales for them. But this doesn't seem to work.
Sorry if this is all a bit confusing. I love aronium because it allows fine tuning which other POS systems don't have. I wonder if I miss something hidden deep in the works of the software.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Peter
