Short receipt number only ticket

Hello I wanted to tell you that trying other printing options not only on ticket but in A4 size invoice this function even being activated does not change the invoice number and remains 18-200-xxxxx

Hi Enrique,

Short receipt number option was never intended to work on invoice (A4 print), it is made for tickets (receipts) only.

This will not change in the future (at least it is not planned for now).

I'll leave this ticket open for comments and votes, if it reaches enough votes, we might consider changing this functionality.
