Purchase price and Current stock

I have been evaluating the software. I have the following query for now.

I have some current stock at cost XX $ and enter new stock that I purchase through a purchase document with YY $. I see that my current stock also changes to YY $. This affects my profit calculations? Is this addressed in your premium version?

  Hi KT,

  Profit calculations are based on purchase documents and the price you enter. Cost price can be set on a product level, but it doesn't affect profit calculations.

  So, I am not sure if I understand if there is a problem at all, so please, can you clarify if you discovered an issue in calculations (stock values or profit reports)?

  Regarding premium version, there is no premium version at this moment. Some premium features are coming our way this year, but we need to know if there is a problem with these calculations. If there is a problem, we will fix it for free version, for sure.
