Prompt to add additional details on product scan

Hello,

I am looking to use the system for a electronic shop.

 

We record the barcode and IMEI code for each product. Barcode works and it looks up the price. However each phone have a unique IMEI. Is there any way that we can configure the system to ask for the IMEI code to be scanned in when a phone barcode is scanned?

  Hi,

  Unfortunately, there is no way to search products except by name, code or barcode.

  This feature may be implemented in the future, it is similar to other requests to allow entering of serial numbers, in which case, system would prompt for a serial number(s) before each sale (see https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360000051491-Serial-Number).

  However, this is something that is yet to come and it is not scheduled for development, yet, so we cannot promise any dates at the moment.
