Networking version; 2 bartenders, one leaves early but can't run Z report.
Hello. I am running the networking version with two bartenders, on two different cash registers. The first bartender comes in early and signs onto the first cash register. Later the second bartender comes in and signs onto a second cash register. So for a while they are both working, signed into their separate machines; separate terminals, separate cash drawers. My problem is that when it comes time for bartender 1 to leave and let bartender 2 finish the night out, bartender 1 can't run his Z report and close out his register. It gives the error message that the bartender 2 still has open tabs and they must be closed before bartender 1 can close his register. Bartender 1 can get an X report, but no Z. So at the end of the night bartender 2 must run a Z report for his register, and then go to bartender 1's register and run his Z report for him after he's already gone. Is there a way to let bartender 1 close down his register while bartender 2 is still working?

Hi Springfield Mix,
Currently, Z report can be issued only if there are no open orders, which you know by now, and it affects all cash registers. We have discussed adding an option to allow you to close cash registers separately, which would solve your problem, but we haven't scheduled this for development, yet.
Until we add the ability to close cash registers separately, the best we can suggest is to allow bartender 1 to "clock out" (like closing his shift) and leave it open until the night is over, so you can run Z reports separately on each cash register.
User can clock-out either from "End of day" screen or from his account details.
Would this work for you?
Thanks, Aronium team.

Hello.
This is what I am already having to do. I just prefer the bartenders only have to focus on their own register, and be completely finished when they leave. And I sometimes can't make it before the next shift starts so it can get complicated. So for now I will deal with it. But a fix would make things a lot easier on me. Thanks for your attention.
