Group base profit and margin report

I think there needs to be a profit and margin report based on a selective group. sometimes we need profit and margin of more than one selective products. It does show product wise report but the choice there is either to select one product only or whole of the products. So I think there must be a filter to select more than one product at a time or group wise profit and margin report.
