When we add cost manually it changes our selling price why would that be

  Please check if you have turned "Cost price based markup" option in "Settings > Products settings", as described at https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000719352-Product-settings. If this option is turned ON, try turning it OFF and see if that was the cause of this behavior.
