Problem related to quantity

I want total quantity to be displayed on the screen while billing. For example : A customer buys 5 pcs of a product and bill is generated of 6 pcs and customer denys to take 6 pcs then we have to generate another bill of 5 pcs. It is a waste of time.

I am trying to say that quantity must be matched before finalising the bill in order to save time. If the quantity gets matched then the bill is perfect.

But in our case we come to know the quantity after the bill is printed which is not correct.

In our business every single bill generated is above the quantity of 200 pcs.

Therefore I kindly request you to understand and solve my problem as soon as possible.

  Hi Yash,

  For other users who may be interested in this feature, we just wanted to clarify and confirm what the request is about.

  If we understood correctly, it is about displaying total quantity in one sale, instead of number of items in receipt.

  In example below, where we have 2 items added to the sale, one with quantity of 5 and another one with quantity of 4, so we have 9 in total, "[F9] Save sale" button should have 9 instead of 2?

  If you are planning to do this, I suggest that you do it as preferences "setting". May be some wants it as it is right now.

  Thanks for bringing this up.

  Yes, of course, there will be a setting to turn this option on. Default behavior will be as it is right now, and users will have an option to turn "total quantity" on.
