Email receipt operation timeout

Hi I want to use my own domain settings for sending receipts eg name@domain.co.uk I use all settings from my provided host, ssl and added my ip to safe sender list in control panel in hosting. When I want to send email aronium tries to send it after 1 minute I get message operation time out. All my settings are correct as checked with provider. Could it be firewall on my broadband? Blocking 465? Could not see anything in router settings. My hosting company gives username = email address. There are no settings for this in aronium, but looking at Gmail settings it should not matter. I also tried two non ssl ports for which operation fails straight away. Thanks
