Item count does not count items but only item types
when receipt is printed, it does not include the count of more than one item on the receipt. for example, if i have 3 x item A and 1 of item B and 2 of item C, the receipt will only show item count as 3 instead of 6.
is this a bug or there is a fix for this?

Hi Dennis,
We do not sum quantities for one simple reason: you may have different unit of measurement in the same receipt.
Here is an example. Let's say you sell 1.5 liter of water, 0.5 kg of bread and 1 piece of something in one sale. Printing 3 for this example wouldn't say much, do you agree?
So, instead of trying to summarize quantities, we print number of items (lines) in receipt, and no matter what quantity is in one item, it is still considered as 1 item.On the other hand, we do understand that there are businesses that are selling single unit of measurement and it works for them to have this sum of items instead of counting the lines in receipt.
As some other users asked for this, too, we are considering adding an option for you to choose if you want to print and display items count or total quantity.
Decision if this is going to be added is yet to come, but we cannot promise any exact dates when or if this will be accepted. Thanks, Aronium team.
P.S.: If this doesn't work for you in receipts, you can turn it off in Customize receipt section.
