Unable To Delete Product
AnsweredHi, I'm trying to delete some products but am getting an error message that says:
Unable to delete product
Make sure product does not exists in documents and try again.
Could you please advise me what I need to do to delete these products.

Hi Dan,
Products used in documents (sales, purchases, etc.) cannot be deleted. In order to delete them, you need to delete them from documents or delete the documents containing these items.
If you do not wish to delete documents (in order to have sales history correct), you can disable these items anytime so they are not available in sales screen.
Also, you can put them in a separate group (e.g. create new group named "Disabled items"), so they do not stand in your way in your daily work.

You can disable a product by turning "Active" option off, as in the screenshot below.
