    Hi KKM,

We will need your database to tell what may be the cause for different values. We'll create support ticked on behalf of you to investigate this.

    Thanks, Aronium team.

    Hi Learning Path,

Can you tell us what do you mean by "Sales and stock quantity are not equal"? Stock quantity displays current stock on hand, while some sales report may vary be filter set. Can you provide some more data so we can understand better and investigate this further?

    Thanks, Aronium team.

I believe I may know what the problem is here. "Stock Movement" shows the number of transactions that include the item, not the number of items sold. For example: A customer buys 5 * "Apple" in a single transaction, "Stock Movement" will show this as 1 sale for "Apple", not 5.

I found that "Items Count" on receipts can be confusing too, as it shows the number of unique items, not the total number of items when a customer buys more than one of a specific type of product.

Thank you Ash for figuring this out. And, yes, you may be right, as this report says "Number of sales" explicitly, so it does refers to number of sales being made with this item and not to quantity being sold.

Regarding that "Items count" in receipt, some users asked for this long time ago, and it should display that. It wouldn't make sense adding up quantities, as you may have pieces, liters and meters in a single receipt, so it would be even more confusing.

However, if you find this "Items count" in receipt confusing, you can turn that off anytime in print settings

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks, Aronium team.

You're welcome :) It confused me for a while until I read the report heading very carefully.

Yeah, I've already turned off "Items count". I totally understand why it works the way that it does, I just thought it was a bit confusing at first.

    Hi Ash and Aronium team..

Thanks for clarification on stock movement / number of sales issue. Can anyone help me to understand, how can i really use this Stock movement report Vs the existing stock list?

It seems obvious, just to know what items are moving. But i wish to have any more ideas to use the reports to improve any sales and strategies?

Thanks a lot once again. :)
