User Log in using Magnetic Card

Have I missed something or is it possible to log a user on with a magnetic card and a usb card reader?

  Hi Michael,

  Depends on equipment, but, from our previous experience magnetic cards behave like keyboard (or barcode scanner). They have programmed code, that can be used as user password without any issues.

  So, what you should try is to swipe a card to Notepad. if your magnetic card reader can output the value in Notepad, you can use it as user password without any problems.
