    Hi Theiven,

You are trying to connect to database server using networking version. Can you tell us, did you install database server successfully before this step? It should run automatically after setup, if you have selected "Database server" option during install?

What you have sent indicates that Aronium couldn't find any SQL Server locally or on network, so, this is the first thing to check.

Can you please confirm that you have "SQL Server" checked during setup, as in the screenshot below?

What you can do, you can run setup again, make sure "SQL Server" is selected, and follow instructions after setup is done, database server setup will start automatically.

If you receive any errors during SQL Server setup, please share with us.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks. Can  you tell us, did you see any error during setup?

Also, can you please check if there is an SQL Server setup stored locally on your PC, as it must be installed from there.

Go to directory where Aronium is installed and look for "SetupFiles" directory. There should be "SQLEXPR_x96_ENU.exe" file there.

OK, now it is better, we can assume what the problem is.

So, these issue may occur if something is missing in your system, or if it not using the latest service pack (we had these issues before). What you need to do, is make sure that your Windows 7 has the latest service pack installed, as that is one of the requirements for SQL Server to install.

The easiest way is to run Windows update and install service pack suggested for your system, it should be similar to screenshot below.

Can you please confirm you can install latest service pack for your Windows (it requires you to be connected to internet)?

    Great!

Please let us know if this solved the issue.

Once you have latest service packs installed, SQL Server (database server) requirements will be met, so it will start automatically after Aronium is installed.

The easiest way to try it is run Aronium setup again after you install Windows service packs required, it will execute with automated setup, and, hopefully, everything will be completed successfully.

We will be waiting for your update.

    Thanks, Aronium team.

hi folks. I had the similar sql error while installing the network version. As per the Aronium supports advice, do update your windows to the latest updates. My problem was fixed after updating windows.
