Customer Display Star SCD122U

Hello, I need some help.

I cannot seem to get the above-mentioned customer display to work - Star SCD122U. In the manual it says that the display supports ESC/POS mode.

Tried the dip switches with different configurations but no luck.

What Character set and Code page are the right ones?

  Hi Georgi,

  I'm sorry to hear that your display doesn't work as expected. We do not set any code page or character set in commands when we send them to display, so it will use whatever was programmed by default.

  Can you please describe better what problem do you have or send us the photo of display output, if we cannot solve it, someone from community may have the answer. Unfortunately, we do not have Star display in our lab to test it out.

  The problem may be with compatible Star commands, as we have seen before Star printers that are not capable of formatting receipts, so, even if ESC/POS protocol works in general, some commands are slightly different and result was not as expected.

  Hello,

  Not yet, haven't had enough time to experiment. I can send it to Aronium's Support to test I suppose.

  I will try to get back to this one and post some pictures (or Nikondslrman can do it?)

  I know it was some time ago but I just managed to make it work. Just in case someone wants to use the same display.

  It needs to be set at 19200 bits per second. That was the only thing that needed changing, apart from setting up the DIP switches according to the PDF manual.
