I had been advised to post this in the forum for votes.  With the system, we have the ability to disable individual item discounts but no ability to disable cart discount.  The individual discount is an important feature as an item may be incorrectly priced, however I feel that it would be beneficial to be able to turn off the cart discount as this could lead to potential LP issues if an employee is giving a discount on all items, not just ones that are supposed to be on promo.

  I know how to  do the item discount.  The request is about disabling cart discount.  Thanks.

  I think Aronium Team should divide the "Apply discount" in "Security" to "Cart discount" and "Item discount". It more rational method. Than disable cart discount at all.

  What is the relevance of disabling a cart discount when the cashier could just discount each item individually to the same end result? I'm genuinely curious as to what this feature would be needed for.

  We have the same problem!
  Cart discount is not very clearly shown when you add it. So we have had employees who by mistake add item discount + cart discount. Which can loose us a lot of money. 
  
  Another solution could be a warning when both item and cart discount is added to the same order!
