In-House Gift Cards
I've been using Regit POS from American Precision Instruments in my retail shop for about 25 years. It was originally DOS and later for Windows, up to XP and Vista, but it is no longer supported and reliable XP machines are getting harder to find.
We used barcoded and magnetic stripe cards within the program which kept costs down, since the bank wasn't getting a cut.
I'd like to go with a more modern program, but I haven't found anything that fits my needs without a huge monthly bill. I'm sure there are others who would also appreciate this feature.

We would like to issue in-house gift cards in the form of magnetic stripe cards, which will be read by a magnetic card reader writer encoder, connected to the computer running your Aronium POS software.
I'm sure there are others who would also appreciate this feature.
This will be our only payment method and invoices will only be e-mailed to customers. No receipts will be printed. It will therefore be very helpful, if the invoice can reflect the balance left on the gift card, after each transaction.
