Store Use Write off Log

Hello,

I'm wondering if there is a way in the system to take a product out of inventory for store use and track the total dollar value (cost of products) for the year?

For example:

I use a pack of incense that cost $2. Then I use a smudge stick in the store which cost $3. It would be nice to have a document that will take those products out of inventory and track the total dollar value of store use write offs throughout the year.

Is this currently doable, or will this be a feature request?

  I do this with a special customer named "used in shop" and with that i can see what i used. and you can give this customer the discounts equal to the cost price. myself just give it a 100% discount and in my analytics, i can see the total use of my self combined with the cost price.
