Customize Invoice Template Design ?

Can you please help me to customize the Invoice template. It would be much better to do it our self rather then to create a new request on behalf of us. Please guide me to use what kinda of tool ? I tried FoxPro but it is not helping me

  We would like to customise our invoices by changing the customer detail, “Code:” to “Friendship No.:”  We imagine that other vendors may have similar needs, for example to change it to "Customer No.:"
