Severe time Lag Entering Inventory Count Quantities

I'm experiencing a 30-60 second time period for it to add my item quantity to the inventory count document. I have 76 pages of products to enter and I'm on page 15 after 5 hours. Is there a faster way to enter my inventory counts? The time it takes the program add one product (30-60 seconds) is getting very frustrating. I will be here for 3 days entering my inventory count. Anyone else experiencing this??

Update: It now takes over 3.5 minutes to add an item to my inventory count and the same amount of time to save the document. I have half my inventory count entered. At this rate, I don't even know if I can finish entering my inventory count.
