How to scan exsisting barcodes of products to enter into inventory Using the barcodes on package from manufacture

  Use a barcode scanner to scan them in the barcode field while creating a new item. You can also manually type them in but it would be time consuming if you have multiple items to add. You can also add more than one barcode to a product.

  Example:

  item 1 is priced $10 and has barcode 12345. After a few months, item 1 is still priced $10 but manufacturer changed the barcode to 67890. In this case, you will only need to update the barcode in PRODUCTS and not create a new product.
