Arabic word items and Tax application
Hi good day, I have a set item data mixed with the items actual English Brand names and some Arabic names. When I upload them to the system, it wont recognize the Arabic letters. How do we resolve this?
In addition to that, this is 17000+ items in total. Do I have to tick add tax to each one or is there an option to have that applied all at once?

Hi Christian,
You need to export the CSV file from Excel as UTF-8 (Unicode) so it preserves Arabic letters. Once you do that, Aronium will import Arabic letters without any issues.
If you are not sure how to do this, we have found one online article explaining this in details at https://docs.workstars.com/en/latest/howto/save-csv-utf8.htmlAlternatively, you can use Google Sheets, as they will export the file in UTF-8 by default, we never had an issue with it. You can find some useful information regarding formatting at https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/articles/211830085-Formatting-CSV-file.
Hope this helps.
Thanks, Aronium team.
