Can't connect cash drawer

am using xprinter POS80C and wants to connect my cash drawer to it but cant. I believe the issue might be the command code but can't get it. Used a different code and anytime I click the drawer test the printer pops up on the screen as item being printed. any help

  but what cash drawer do you have ? what i did got a old to re use only made sure that i got volt on the wires

  when i push the software button with sort of radium code

  maby you have it on the wrong pins ? maby get test wire for the cash drawer to test it out with 5volt

  You need to create a 'fake printer' and that printer uses the com port that device has.
  You will see the com port in device manager
