I am confused by gift cards.  Since I would take in money for the sale of a gift card, I would think it shows up as a sale at that time. Do I create a product for it? When a customer brings in a gift card and I want to use a part of the card towards a sale, there shouldn't be any new money coming in.  Also, if I haven't included the tax in each individual item, it doesn't look like I can use a gift car towards the tax.
Also, also, the gift card balance has to be tracked.  Since I am a new user, I am not sure if all this is already exists in the software or not.  Thanks.
