    For anyone facing this issue, the solution is to select the Myanmar compatible font (like Pyidaungsu) in Settings > Print options > Print templates, as described here. Once you have compatible font selected, export to PDF will work as expected.

    If you don't have Myanmar font installed already, you can try installing one of the Google Noto fonts, like the one at https://fonts.google.com/noto/specimen/Noto+Sans+Myanmar.
