In many countries, including India, MRP is regulated by law and businesses are required to clearly display the MRP on receipts and invoices.
MPR plugin gives you the ability to specify products' maximum retail price and, once you have it assigned, it will print in receipt and invoice automatically.
You can download MRP plugin from www.aronium.com/en/features/mrp.
Assigning maximum retail price to a product
Once you have MRP plugin installed, you will have an option to add a product's MRP in product details, as in the screenshot below.
Ignoring MRP for a product
if you wish not to use MRP for a specific product, you can leave it as "0" (zero) and it will not print in receipt and invoice. Any price greater than zero will automatically print in receipt and invoice.
Printing MPR in receipt and invoice
Once you have MPR plugin installed and MRP assigned to products, no action is required from your end. From that moment, any product that has assigned MRP greater than zero will automatically print in receipt and invoice, similar to the screenshot below.
Additionally, MRP savings will be combined with discounts and will be included in the final savings total in receipt.
Invoice will have additional column displaying MRP, as in the screenshot below.
