Once you have Dine-in & Takeaway installed and configured, you will be able to choose between service type every time you start a new order. A screen below will appear with default option preselected.
You can select the option you need by simply clicking on the icons. The selection is marked with a checkbox.
By clicking Continue, you will proceed to add items to this order.
Change between options for the existing order
You can change selected service type option in main sales screen anytime. The service type button is available in a toolbar on both Visual and Standard layout, simply clicking it toggles selected service type.
Kitchen ticket and receipt print
Once you have selected service type, it will print on kitchen ticket and receipt.
Kitchen ticket prints large order number and selected service type, as in the screenshot below. This helps kitchen staff knows whether to plate or pack the order.
A large order number is printed in receipt to speed up pickup calls and reduce mix-ups at the counter.
