Pay a credit in installments by paying different amounts

It would be very useful if, when making a sale on credit, that client had the option of making small payments until paying the total debt, currently I can only choose between "paid" and "not paid", in addition to choosing the option " paid" I cannot choose with which payment method the client paid his debt, it would be good to manage a total account statement for each client and thus choose when he makes payments to his total debt and his balance decreases.
