Email settings and sending problem
Hi,
I'm really facing a problem with your email reporting plugin. My client, who is based abroad, wants to receive email reports of daily sales, stocks and inventory from his store here in Nigeria. I have setup Aronium on their new laptop based on Windows 10, but your email plugin has become a serious thorn in my flesh.
I have followed your email settings instructions at https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001498212?input_string=email to the later and also generated app password from Gmail which I am using instead of my Gmail password. Unfortunately, I'm not able to allow 3rd party applications to access my Gmail account by activating the LESS SECURE APPS option in security settings. This is because Google has disabled the LESS SECURE APPS option completely.
Every time I attempt to send the test email, I always got an error message which says "Error sending test email. Please check your configuration and try again. System message: Failure sending mail."
I have done everything I could to get it right, but it never sends the mail. I've also tried Yahoo mail (they disabled app password so I couldn't use that) and Live mail. None worked so I'm back to Gmail.
Now I'm confused and don't know what next to do. I really need to setup and activate the email reporting plugin. My client is on my neck and thinks don't know my job.
