Hello,
Can you please provide some more details and detailed steps so we can understand better and try to reproduce the problem?
The title of your post indicates that the error is related to an email, as SMTP server is used to send emails.
The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated.
However, Aronium doesn't automatically send email when closing the sale, and we believe that is not the cause of the problem. It certainly should not be causing duplicates on the reports.
For this reason, we are asking for some more details and steps to reproduce, so we can understand what the problem actually is and, hopefully, provide some help.
Thanks, Aronium team.

Hi Tony,
You have posted the same question at https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/21959639672594, so we would like to keep the conversation in one place, it will be much easier to follow.
To be able to help you, we need to understand what may be causing the problem, and, ideally, be able to reproduce it. Without one of these two things, it will be very hard to fix the problem. As we were not able to reproduce this issue on our end, we are asking for your help, so we can understand better.
Looking into our previous message, this error you are seeing is related to sending emails. However, there is no automatic email sending when closing the sale. What we are trying to understand is the correlation between SMTP errors when closing the sale, as no such thing exists in Aronium. You can send email once sale is closed, but that has no effect on closing the sale, printing receipt or Z report.
Next, the support ticket you opened is a bit misleading, as from the logs you send we see different error. We asked for some clarification questions there, but we got no reply. If you wish, we can continue the conversation there and try to understand the problem better.
When we ask for steps and additional details, it would be enough to confirm if this is happening after each sale or it happens intermittently. If you can confirm this, that may be helpful.
Another thing we can suggest, assuming this is an SMTP (email sending) problem, try uninstalling Email reporting plugin, if you have it installed and see if the error is happening after that. You can find instructions on how to uninstall a plugin at https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/articles/4413727049234-Uninstall#how-to-uninstall-a-plugin.
If we can locate the problem with the above actions, we will be one step closer to solving it.
Thanks, Aronium team.
