i want to print RECEIPT instead of INVOICE

CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME TO PRINT RECIEPT/ESTIMATE INSTEAD OF INVOICE ON THE FINAL PRINT ON A4 SIZE PAPER.

  Hi Jassi,

  All you can do is change printer type to "POS 80" instead of "A4".

  If you are using A4 printer, receipt can print on A4 paper, but it will print in a form of a receipt, and will be printed in top left corner of A4 page.

  It will look like this, but, again, it will not print in full A4 page, it will be printed on top left part of A4 page.

  

  Can you please tell if this works for you or you need something else, like different invoice template or similar?

  How can i change the printer type ? And how can i print receipt on A4

  All i want is Nothing should be printed or it should print RECEIPT INSTEAD OF INVOICE. Hope you are getting my point.

  Let me try answering with some options, but first, this is what different printer types do:

  • ESC/POS - Prints receipt on receipt / thermal printer (NOT A4) using standard ESC/POS commands. More info here
  • POS 58 / 80 - Prints receipt on receipt / thermal printer (NOT A4) using Windows print templates. More info here
  • A4 - Prints A4 invoice on selected printer. More info here

  Here are some options you can choose from:

  1. No receipt printing (print nothing)

  If you turn OFF "Print receipt" in printer settings, no receipt (or invoice) will be printed. Please read more about printer settings here

  2. Print receipt

  Receipt will be printed on receipt printers (thermal receipt printers - NOT A4). 
  If you do not have a receipt printer, but you have A4 only, you can print invoice (using A4 printer type) or turn OFF receipt printingso you do not print receipt at all.

  Alternatively, you can choose to print receipt format on A4 (as described in previous answer), but I guess that doesn't look good, and that is not what you need.

  3. Print dialog

  If you wish to print receipt optionally, please, turn on "Display print receipt dialog" option, after each sale, you will be presented with a screen to choose what you want to do next, print receipt, send email, or do nothing.
