    Hi Joran,

Unfortunately, there is no way you can choose a customer before sale, as some operations are done after customer is selected, for example, applying predefined discounts for selected customer.

Can you please explain a bit more why do you need to assign a customer before payment so we can understand the requirement better?

    Thanks, Aronium team.

Hi there, and thanks for the quick response.

Currently we are working with old-fashioned notepad pages for every customer at the bar, so we can simply write for example one beer on their page so they can pay when they leave.

This is what I would like to have digitally. I hope I am being at least somewhat clear, haha.

I propose this be implemented in the system as it useful in cases where the software is used at the Warehouse where the customer base is supposed to be in the system first for purposes of tracking their orders and payments. At a Warehouse, we need to have a customer databases to pick from the same a customer who buys products from us. This database is a list of customers with all details about them.

If this is implemented,it will save Joran's need.

Please digitize this. It is a need.

We would like to assign a customer name to a table, so that we can refer to the customer by name. Also makes sure that we've definitely collected the customers name and details.

please include this as a feature it could be done via a loyalty card, phone number etc.   (loyalty card = barcode on the card) or even email would be good.

Keep in mind however some customers will not want to give you thier phone number especially if your a really small store and they only shop with you every so often

    @Aronium

This is a really late reply, but I don't understand why operations done AFTER selecting a customer means you can't select a customer BEFORE finalising the sale.

The easiest way to explain this is that I just want bar tabs that (regular) customers can pay at a later time/date. With the current software we would still have to write down what these regulars had to drink/eat and then enter it in the PoS later.

    Regards,

    Joran

I would like to know if there are any plans of implementing this or if they at least understand what I'm asking for and why.

I've noticed they tend not to reply to feature requests, and seldom let us know whether or not a feature will be implemented, or even considered. I don't understand why they don't simply make an open source version to allow people to create plugins themselves.

thats what they should do.   I think the software is on its last breath I do not see many dev's actually replying anymore and for that matter I went to Square. its free and thing work with it. pretty customizable too

I had the same thought. If they're lacking the funding to continue, they could easily affordably monetize the POS if it meant frequent service and feature updates. It's current state is reasonably functional, but highly lacking.
