Cash Payment Handling / Decimal Point handling / 00 button
Cash Payment Handling
Would it be possible for Aronium to provide cash payment options as opposed to manually typing the amount received from the customer.
E.g.
Sale total of £21.98, Cash payment options £21.98, £22.00, £25.00, £50.00 should be offered (or similar)
Sale total of £1.98, Cash payment options £1.98, £2.00, £5.00, £10.00, £20.00, £50.00 should be offered.
Decimal Point Handling
Also related would be the handling of decimal points when entering a price or cash payment. This should have a toggle in the system settings either to allow decimal point handling or not.
E.g.
With handling on, entering 7 = 0.07, 27 = 0.27, 278 = 2.78, 2783 = 27.83, 27838 = 278.38, etc.
Handling off would be similar to the current implementation where a decimal point has to be manually entered.
.00 button
We currently can enter 27.00 on the keyboard but a 00 button will speed up entry for this.

Hi,
Thanks for the feature request. If I remember, some other users asked for predefined amounts, we do have a ticket for this, but, unfortunately, I cannot promise when this will be added.
It may be that I didn't understand this correctly, but I have to ask, regarding the ".00" button, if I may ask, why do you enter "27.00", why don't you just enter "27"?
Thanks.

As JJ hasn't responded perhaps I could explain, as I would also like to see automatic decimal point and a 00 button added as an option.
Many POS systems keypads include this 00 button to speed up price entry: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81fNlAHXIjL._SL1500_.jpg
The 00 key is only needed if a decimal point is being automatically added, as entering just "27" would result in "£0.27" instead of "£27.00". Most products in retail stores are not priced at whole numbers so it's common to have to enter "£1.69" for example and it's quicker to be able to just type "169" and have the POS add the decimal point automatically. It is a compromise as it makes entering whole numbers slower, "2700" for "£27", so the 00 button is used to speed it up.
I don't think either system is really better than the other, it's just personal preference and what people are used to. That's why I think it would be nice to have both options so that users can choose which keypad layout they like.
