Setting Barcode Weight
AnsweredB"H
Hi,
For some reason I have a difficulties to set up the barcode for embedded weight.
We sell products from abroad and they come already with stickers of barcode an weight.
For example, the barcode show 2590344007161, so the prefix is set for 25, number of digits to 5, and after the decimal to 3, and the product barcode to 90344, but its not working. (the actual weight is 0.716).
Any suggestions?

Hi,
You need to use product code instead of barcode. So, your product code should be 90344.
Aronium will search for product code in weighing scale generated barcode, so, it will split the given barcode as follows
(25)(90344)(00716)(1) - in example you've sent, this should work as expected, just make sure you have product code set to "90344".
I Hope this helps.

Hi Ken,
Just as a reminder, Aronium is using product code when dealing with barcodes produced by weighing scales. So, what you need to do, you need to match your product codes in Aronium with the ones being used on weighing scales.
Barcode article related to this topic can be found at https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/articles/208663329-Barcode-settings.
Can you please provide some examples how did you set it up, how does your codes looks like and an example of what is printed on weighing scale so we can help?
Thanks, Aronium team.
