Customer Credit Feature

Hello,

I'm looking to add a customer credit feature to the Aronium POS.
I was told by support to post this here and if it gets enough votes it may be considered for a new feature.

I own a mom and pop used clothing store. 
I provide in store credit when customers bring in their gently used childrens clothing, and they can in return use their credit on other clothing.

I think this would also be helpful for stores who don't give refunds in cash but rather store credit.

    I'm looking for this exact same feature. I work in a card/board game store where people can trade in used products for In Store Credit to be used on future dates toward new product. As Ashley had mentioned we also do not provide refunds but give In Store Credit to our customers for returned products, so having this feature would be amazing.

    If anyone also has any ideas on a workaround solution until we have a fully implemented feature, please do share!

    I'm still looking for this feature, or perhaps another way of managing the amount of in-store credit a customer has available to them. At the moment we must track everything separately on a spread sheet, which is quite inconvenient, and would prefer to use the Aronium system without any other software to handle this.

    I am also, it really sucks having to manage everything in different programs.
    I have started using Aronium's document for store credit, but i also have a spreadsheet with the totals on the side, because without it being able to tie in and show sales removing credit, it's a big mess with a calculator, and checking all past sales under that client.

    Hi Kyle,

    We are sorry for not replying, but you can rest assure that we did not miss any of feature requests posted. This one is well noted, but it is not scheduled for development, yet.

    We'll post any updates on this thread, once this feature is accepted and scheduled.

    Does anyone have any suggestions for a feasible work-around for this? This is a feature I absolutely require at my store, and it is becoming more and more problematic to attempt to track everything via excel spreadsheet.

    Is Aronium Open Source? Is this a plugin I could work on myself to be implemented, as I feel that may simply be faster.

    I would love to have such a feature available. It would be great for people to be able to deposit money into an account for store credit and not have to worry if they don't have any cash on them to make a purchase. It would also allow them to send in their kids to make a purchase and not worry about sending them with money. Please add this!

    this is of extreme benefit when accepting returns. It allows us to process a return for store credit instead of cash refund. creating ease of balancing the till and conforming with a well established sales practice of store credit on returns.

    Please i need this feature. my customers deposits money -cash or card- towards purchases during the month they need to see their credit/debit. i have 3 shops using aronium - include the feature in the paid version at least.

    I was thinking about the in store credit. you can give them a giftcard. I do wander if you could create an invoice for your customer and just take a partial payment
