There are some subcategories on subcategories of items.

For example

There are Foods, Drinks, Extras

in Foods >>

Meat, Fish, Vegetarian and some other

Drinks >>

Alcoholic, Non alcoholic, 1/2 & 1/3 & 330 & 1.5L

with some subcategories

 

when going to 3rd subcategory, there are no way back, only on UP key. It should be touched several time to get back to root of all items.

It easily can be override, if there will be added some option with home button, that quickly jumps to root screen of categories/items.

 

Here it easily can be accessed by seek command via external KB, but when in touch mode, little bit difficult to work flawlessly.

 

Also it will be nice to make some Combined items from several sub categories. For example:

We have business lunch hours, when you can order from couple of dishes for a fixed price.

The customer, can choose one of several 1st, 2nd & extra + drink for a fixed price.

But on kitchen order, it should be exactly explained what to prepare.

Is there option, to make SubCat as Item with fixed price. All items that are tagged in this SubCat# in any combination will get fixed price.

 

Also, when preparing some dishes on regular service, for some extras, should be some added charge and some free extras. When customer orders hamburger, it can come with some extras for en extra price. Like in McDonald's.

  I agree need to create a button to go the main menu i have sub folders too and not being able to do this can make it pain when busy
