SQL Database setup for networked version.

Hi team,

 

I have followed instrations in the PDF on intsalling networked version but I am getting the error when trying to create the database. (below)

Also I found the link https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360028763531-I-am-getting-error-message-need-help-please-not-so-techy-guy-here- which I also tried to follow but my computer is up to date... I mst be doing something wrong???

  Hi,

  This error and a screenshot you've sent indicates that SQL Server is not installed on a PC where you are running installer. SQL Server should be run automatically during installation, but there may be error during setup. 

  Can you tell us did you see any error during SQL Server setup?

  Hi,

  No, everything looked fine during install.. I followed the PDF instructions the whole way through and made sure the screen snips in the PDF matched what my POS was showing.

  Any ideas on this one? I just tried installing the Networked version on a second computer that I was hoping would act as the server but it has come up with the exact same issue?

  I also read the comments here and both computers are up to date. https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360028763531-I-am-getting-error-message-need-help-please-not-so-techy-guy-here-

  Please advise?

  I had the same problem. Was able to fix the problem by updating windows to the latest updates. Then it worked fine.

  Update you windows so that you have all necessary updates and fix. Try it
