Disable 'Quick Inventory' in Stock Control for Users with Lower Access levels

Hello,

Great Software team. I will like to request if you can include the feature where users with lower access levels can check stock levels with the Quick Inventory option disabled and Cost Prices of Products hidden.

  Can you please provide some more info on this request? 

  Users can see current stock level in product search screen on POS. Also, you can restrict access using access levels so users can see stock quantities only in management section.

  Okay. 

  When  access has been granted to a user to view only stock quantities in management section;

  1. The user is also able to update the inventory of products using the 'Quick Inventory'

  2. The user is also able to view cost prices of products in the stock section. This should be visible to someone with an administrator access or the owner of the shop.

  Can the following be included to resolve this;

  1. Ability to limit users from updating stock quantities in management section.

  2. Ability to hide cost prices in stock and product section of the management section.

  Hi Kdeh,

  Regarding the ability for users to create "Quick inventory count", even if they do not have permissions to access documents, it obviously make sense to add such validation and to prevent users to create inventory count from stock section.
  We'll try to address this issue in very next update, if possible, and we'll notify you no this thread.

  Regarding your second request, to hide cost price, unfortunately, this is not planned. However, we'll leave this feature request open, so other users can vote for it. If it gets enough votes, we'll consider such feature.

  I support this feature suggested be implemented. It makes high sense for me to hide cost prices from the users at lower level of access.

  Here is an update on this request.

  Disabling "Quick inventory" is scheduled for version 1.24.

  We still need to find the way to hide cost prices, and we cannot promise it will be implemented at the same time.

  Hi, Aronium how to set the user can only increase stock in quick inventory and can't reduce the stock

  Can you add an extra access level option for selected users?

  • These users should not be able to change product stock quantity, product name, cost, or sale price.

  • They should also not be allowed to create, edit, or delete any inventory documents.

  This will make it easier to manage the business by assigning a controlled Manager Role with limited access.
