You already have this feature, essentially. When you add a customer to your system you can add specific discounts to this customer for certain products or product groups. You can find this under the discounts tab when you edit or add a customer.

So this program lets me put an amount on a gift card and sell it to some one, and removes these items from inventory and take that item off their card?

What do I do if I want to print these cards out which the program does not do at its current stage and hand these out to some one at church or give the cards to a school to hand out to children etc ???? I have no idea what names to put on them. I can not make one customer account with 20 membership cards.

These are not loyalty cards but vouchers etc.

Since I am not a programmer I can not RTFC  I think you ment to say RTFD. at any rate. This is not a flame forum so please keep your nasty comments to yourself if all your inputs are going to be like this one

I have no idea what RTFD means, and what I typed wasn't a flame comment at all... I was giving you potentially productive advice for a solution that may or may not work for you at this point in time. RTFC was a note for myself to make it easy to find in my followed threads sections. RTFC - "Read the Future Comments." Sorry if you were offended by 4 letters that you were unfamiliar with??? Please in the future ask what something means before assuming the worst and slandering someone.

In a response to your membership card comment, you are able to apply a loyalty card to a customer, which can be input as a series of numbers which you can scan using a barcode scanner to quickly look up the customer when making a transaction. Again, this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but as I said previously you are able to assign that particular person certain discounts, and the system will track which sales are made to which customers.

    Hi Faruk,

Aronium does not support multiple shops in a single database. This means that, if you need multiple shops, you will have to install them separately, each shop must have its own database and its own license.

    Best regards, Aronium team.

While it may not natively support multiple shops on one database, I can't see why it wouldn't work to have your database saved on an FTP server or a cloud like DropBox or GoogleDrive, and have all machines reference that cloud drive.

    Hi Kyle,

In theory, this may work, but, please, be extremely careful about this.

You can move your database to a Dropbox folder on your PC, it will by eventually synced to Dropbox, and you will have your database backed up there, but, if you wish to access it from multiple locations at the same time, this will lead to bad or corrupted data, as two cash registers may practically overwrite previously made changes on another PC, as I am not sure that real-time sync with Dropbox is something you wish to rely on. There are plenty of things that can go wrong.

We never tried this approach and we do not support it, as neither database or Aronium is designed to be used this way, so, again, please be very careful with this.

    Thanks, Aronium team.

Loyalty Card Number added to customer profile would be great.

Then cashiers can scan on the sales screen and then it will apply discounts to the Loyalty Group or something like that would be great for retailers. We want to be able to do more with customer promotions. Yes you can apply to customer, but that gets to be a lot after having 1,000s of customers.
