    Hi Kyle,

There are reasons why taxes are not included, and there are reasons why payment cannot be included in sales report, I'll try to explain below.

    Taxes

The main reason why taxes are not printed is because it may bring up some confusion, as single item can have multiple tax rates applied. So, printing one product sold may require two separate rows, or some summary of taxes used for particular sale.

However, I believe we could create custom report for you. If you wish to try it out, please send an email to support@aronium.com, and we'll try to find a way to print taxes, if possible.

    Payment methods

Payment methods cannot be included in sales report because of split payments. In case of split payments, we can never tell what amount is applied to which product.

For example, if you have 2 items in a receipt, both sold by $100, total amount is $200.If you use split payment and close that sale with $150 in cash, and $50 using some other payment method (e.g. credit card) for the rest of $50, there is no way we can tell if $150 in cash applies to first or second item in full, and where to apply the rest. Trying to print some random values to match the payment amounts would be too complicated, inaccurate and probably meaningless.
And imagine trying to "calculate" this on a receipt with 10+ items with more then 2 payment type used, it would be pretty hard to create any meaningful report, do you agree?.

    Thanks, Aronium team.

    Good morning,

I'm not sure if this is related, but for our purposes, we need a report like "daily sales", but with another column, showing sales taxes owed, and exempt sales. If it had more columns, that would be fine, but those are the ones we need to turn into our accounting firm. We run a store in Honduras, with slightly more strict tax reporting requirements.

    Kind regards,
    Mark Colbath

PS: Thanks again for making such a fine product, and offering to it us at the best price. :-)
