Refund one item of same product but retain the other

    Yes this option is available while doing refund.

    Select your desired sale in "sale history" then right click or go to upper Refund button.

    Select your desired return/refund as showing on attached picture in red box. then select ok.

    Hi KKM,

    Please make sure you have turned OFF the following option in Settings.


    Also turn ON "Separate row for each item". Once enabled, items will show up separate in the billing area.



    And can also be refunded individually even if it is the same item.

    as i understands "merge item on receipt" have nothing to do with refund......

    Hi Javed,

    It does in a situation such as this when you have sold two of the same products and then only have to refund one of them. Here are some screenshots with "Merge Items on Receipt turned ON and Seperate Row for Items turned OFF."

    I sold two cakes and suppose the customer wants to return one them. It won't be possible 'cause you won't get that option. see below:

    Tanks a lot Javed and Yao for giving replies. 

    Now, that before billing the settings were not done (in my case) as suggested by you.

    Now I cannot go back to the earlier sales, am i right?

    and it is possible only subsequent sales, with the settings of "Merge items OFF" and "Separate Rows for item ON".

     

    Correct me if i am wrong.

    You are right, it will only work with subsequent sales. Previous sales records stays the same.
